Some sacrifices I have made include helping my mom around the house instead of playing, and going to work with her on weekends instead of playing and keeping her at home. The elements of my sacrifice are generosity, compassion, and kindness. One element that makes a sacrifice a sacrifice is... it might sound weird... but it is... choice.
The Leaf Says: The cross on my back for all to see, is a reminder that Jesus died for me! Happy Palm Sunday!
Part 1: Evaporation Water evaporates from water sources. The water sources include lakes, rivers, and the ocean. part 2: Condensation Water is stored in clouds. The water in the clouds comes out when it rains or snows. part 3: Precipitation Water comes out of the clouds. The water comes out as rain or snow. part 4: Runoff Runoff is water that usually runs down slopes or hills. The water is from the precipitation. part 5: Transpiration Transpiration is water that comes from plants into the sky. It is a form of evaporation. part 6: Groundwater The gifts of the Holy Spirit are piety, fear of the lord, fortitude, counsel, understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. For piety, I put a picture of children caring for the earth because piety means respecting what God has created. Knowledge has a picture of words that describe God. Also, counsel has a picture of someone in the army because they are making the right choice. These pictures each resemble the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Enjoy!
This is an example of the 3rd beatitude. It shows poor peasant asking for some food, clothes, or money. He says he believes in God, which is true. Another woman prays for him, and offers him land, as it says in the beatitude this is resembling.
